Our Response to COVID-19

Dear valued customer,
Here at Blacklocks Jeep, we would like to address the rapidly changing Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) and how our dealership will be handling this situation in such uncertain times. We feel a huge responsibility for the health and safety of our people, their families and our extended family – our Blacklocks Jeep customers.

At this point in time: We are business as usual and will remain so until further advice from Authorities.

It's business as usual at Blacklocks Jeep. If, however, you feel more comfortable not coming into our Dealership we offer a range of online and remote services:

Sales Department:

  • Video Calls & vehicle demo
  • Videos of any vehicle in stock.
  • Off-site test drive experience. We drop off and pick up vehicles from your work or home.
  • Online vehicle valuation and no obligation finance application.
  • We encourage our customer to use the online demonstration booking form 

Aftersales (Service & Parts):

  • Free pick up and drop off service for your service vehicles from your work or home. Limited spots available & within 15km radius
  • Express servicing on minor services
  • Free loan car (where available at time of booking)
  • Where you can please use online booking service within website 

In response to COVID-19, we are actively working to ensure the health and safety of everyone in our dealerships. Here’s what we’re doing:


Internal focus on cleanliness
In our dealership, we remain focused on cleanliness. In addition to our strict hygiene standards, we have increased the frequency of many cleaning tasks with a focus on high-touch surfaces including desks, reception areas, waiting areas, tables, door handles, EFTPOS terminals, and bathrooms.

Our staff are wearing protective rubber gloves and use disposable plastic steering wheel and seat covers and use disinfectant spray on any surfaces they touch to ensure cleanliness at all times.

Addition to this, the below is being implanted across departments.

Sales Department:

  • Sales staff will no longer be accompanying customers on demo’s / test drive.
  • Sold vehicle collection should happen within 30mins and we will offer a video demonstration for the features of your new vehicle
  • We can offer a door to door vehicle delivery
  • We request our customer to refrain from the practice of handshaking, as our staff will not engage in this activity
  • We will enforce a 1.5m social distancing rule when engaging with customers as requested by the government.

Aftersales (Service & Parts):

  • Loan cars are cleaned after each use.
  • Only one person per car drop off.
  • Limit to 2 customers per 15min windows at drop off & collection.
  • Limit of 2 customers within the waiting area.
  • We encourage EFTPOS payment as preferred payment.

Supporting our team is our priority

We are recommending to our team to stay home from work if they experience any flu-like symptoms, have recently travelled abroad to impacted areas, or come into contact with anybody confirmed with the virus. We encourage our staff to follow best practice as guided by health authorities around testing and self-isolation. We are practicing social distancing with our team and customers, recommending no or low contact options wherever possible including splitting of meal breaks, reduce or avoid unnecessary meetings and increased personal hygiene.

We’re continuing to monitor developments closely and are following the guidance of public health authorities. As the situation changes, we’ll change with them and keep you informed.
